BI Manager (Business Intelligence)

Department Mission
  • To advance the organization by developing algorithms to build models that uncover connections and make better decisions without human intervention.
Role
  • The role is to drive improvements in business by providing insights and analysis.
  • You will lead the team to leverage data and analytics to generate insights that accelerate the scale, efficiency and quality of the our services.
Authority
  • Lead, recruit and train the team of data professional
  • Develop dashboards and insights
  • Set objectives and performance Review
  • Participate in the management team
  • Propose strategies
  • Liaise between business and data structure and development team
Responsibility
  • Manage, develop, and grow a team of Business Intelligence Engineers and analytic professionals
  • Lead a team to create actionable business insights to answer business questions, drive business decisions, and develop recommendations to improve operations
  • Drive a business intelligence roadmap; prioritize analysis requests to balance the tactical and strategic information needs of the business
  • Present analysis and recommendations to senior leaders, using data-driven storytelling and influence to drive improvements in business operations and strategic change
  • Collaborate with product management, software engineering, data science, and data engineering leaders to design and develop information management capabilities
  • Lead the definition and governance of key business metrics, drive the vision and building of automated dashboards and self-service analytic capabilities, and engineer data-driven processes that drive business value.
Requirements
  • Degree in computer science, mathematics, business or any other related fields,
  • Expertise with preparing reports,
  • Know Excel, Power-points or any other visualization tools,
  • Expertise with ETL,
  • Expertise with creating OLAP (Cube, slice, dice and drilling),
  • Know SQL and querying for ad-hoc reports,
  • Expertise with making real-time dashboards,
  • Have communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
