Controller

Finance
Department Mission
  • The finance department plans, organizes, leads, control and monitors the activities of the two programs: accounting and revenue management. Developing and implementing efficient and effective financial policies, planning and reporting systems that assure the company's long-term fiscal health.
Role
  • Controller role is to analysis be accountable on accounting operations including closings and reports, checking processes while controlling budgets and cash in the company. Following accounting principles standards is another main role of a controller position.
Authority
  • Oversee internal control guidelines, policies and procedures for budget accounting, cash and credit
Responsibility
  • Setting internal control guidelines, standard in line with IFRS
  • Setting up budget accounting and cash flow management rules and procedures
  • Controlling budgeting, procurement, investment activities.
  • Preparing financial reports and closings
  • Controlling debt levels (AR and AP) and compliance with debt covenants
  • Ensuring complying with state, federal or provincial regulatory requirements and professional standards.
  • Setting and setting financial controls with the accounting department.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports and risk analysis.
  • Providing forecasts and budget plans
  • Assisting top management in financial matters
  • Responsibility on the general ledger.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
  • Previous experience in accounting, preferably at the same position
  • Having perfect command of accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Understanding of financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of payroll, AR/AP functions
  • Deadline oriented and ability to work under pressure
  • Proven experience in financial project management.
  • Advanced computer skills, specifically in Excel.
  • Knowledge of local tax regulation
  • Deep understanding of finance and ledgers
