General Manager

HR and People Management
Department Mission
  • To orchestrate all resources, efforts, and initiation into a single company-wide goal and strategy
Role
  • The role of General Manager is a key to administration of overall business. You as a part of management team needs to oversee daily business activities, improving overall business functions, training heads of departments, managing budgets, developing strategic plans, creating policies, and communicating business goals
Authority
  • Monitoring and Oversee financial data
  • Budget Management
  • Hire, training and team performance management
  • Oversee day-to-day operation of the company
Responsibility
  • Raise the bar by leading the sales and operations departments in providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Ensure the store team is communicating effectively, demonstrating knowledge of our products and encouraging our customers to engage
  • Initiate sales and marketing programs
  • Building a community around and partner with appropriate business development partners
  • Hire, on-board, train and develop top-performers; track and regularly review key performance metrics
  • Manage all scheduling, time-off and open & close duties
  • Update your market and competition information constantly
Requirements
  • 8+ years of proven record of sales/store management success in retail, fashion or consumer electronic industry
  • BS/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
  • Solid Knowledge of retail management best practices
  • Understanding and ability to work within and support all aspects of retail business including merchandising, display, accounting, marketing, warehousing, and delivery
  • The conscientiousness of your environment, with an ability to multi-task and prioritize conflicting urgencies
  • Diligent responsiveness to business cycles and demand fluctuations, demonstrating a willingness and ability to work during peak business periods and weekends
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong Knowledge of financial report, P&L, and key metrics
